José Carlos da Silva Costa is a member of Galp’s Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee. He received his degree in chemical engineering from the Porto Instituto Superior de Engenharia and specilaised training in Quality management, information systems and innovation. With over two decades of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Project Management, he is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Refining and Trading Oil, after several leadership roles in the Company, namely as CCO in the 2012-2014 period, whilst member of the Executive Committee. Currently, in the capacity of CCO, he is responsible for the corporate services of Engineering, Project Management and Procurement. His professional experience also includes the automotive and tourism industries.
