Biography

 Charles Ferté MD PhD is an assistant professor of medical oncology at South-Paris University and a medical oncologist at Gustave Roussy. After his medical training, he gained a PhD degree in cancer molecular biology from South-Paris University. He completed his training with a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Sage Bionetworks (Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, USA), where he gained expertise in bioinformatics and predictive modelling related to precision medicine in oncology (ASCO Young Investigator Award 2012). His main research interests are: translational research related to precision medicine, genomics, early clinical development, predictive modelling, systems biology and GI oncology. His expertise and interest also expand to the development of digital solutions that engage the patient and medical communities, and ultimately maximize the diffusion of research and medical results.
