Boaz has 20 years of experience in high-tech companies, serving as a key executive, managing the research & development of three startups in three different domains through successful acquisitions. Prior to founding PerseusBioMed, Boaz was the head of research & development of Identify Software, an enterprise software company, through a successful acquisition by BMC software in 2006 for $150M. Following the acquisition, Boaz continued to serve as the head of R&D for the acquired division. Prior to his role at Identify, Boaz co-founded FareChase, an Internet search startup, in which he served as VP Research & Development; the company was acquired by Yahoo in 2003. Boaz has also led software development and customer training for BioSense, a medical equipment startup company that was acquired by Johnson & Johnson for $450M in 1998. Boaz holds a Mechanical-Engineer degree Cum Laude from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, a Software-Engineer degree Cum Laude from the Technion, and is a graduate of the LAHAV executive education program of the Recanati business school of Tel Aviv University.
