He was also Office Director for Futurestep Atlanta where he was responsible for all aspects of performance, including client relations, search execution and staff development. Prior to Futurestep, Mr. Gilbert was with an international executive search firm where he worked with several high-profile clients, principally in the consumer products, financial services, industrial and professional services industries. Before entering the executive search profession, he was Chief Financial Officer of Party America, Inc., a specialty retailer. Previously, he was Chief Administrative and Financial Officer with Treasure House Stores, Inc., a venture capital-backed turnaround. Mr. Gilbert also served as Chief Financial Officer for Silk Greenhouse, Inc. in Tampa. He began his career with KPMG.
