Mr. Avi M. Nash serves as Managing Director of Avi Nash LLC and founded it in 2003. Mr. Nash has been Managing Director of Indian River Advisors Corporation, a financial advisory firm, since 2013. He has more than 36 years of experience in the chemical industry and in corporate finance and investing. He was a Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co. for more than five years from 1998 to 2002 and led its investment research in Global Chemicals. He served as Research Analyst and Equity Analyst at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Research Division. During his time with Goldman Sachs, Mr. Nash held the positions of Vice President from 1989 to 1996, Managing Director from 1996 to 1998, Advisory Director since 2002 and an Equity Analyst. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he gained over 10 years of experience involving strategy at Booz Allen and Hamilton, as well as R&D, engineering and marketing experience at UOP Inc., a developer of petroleum refining technology. He serves as Director of Sigma-Aldrich Company Limited. Mr. Nash has been an Independent Director at Sigma-Aldrich Corporation since November 8, 2005. He holds M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University and Master of Management from Northwestern University. He was named a distinguished alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, where he received a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
