Armando Anido has been a member of our Board of Directors since April 2016. Mr. Anido has more than 30 years of executive, operational and commercial leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zynerba Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since October 2014. Prior to Zynerba, Mr. Anido served as Chief Executive Officer of NuPathe, Inc., and Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to Auxilium, Mr. Anido held commercial leadership roles at MedImmune, Glaxo Wellcome and Lederle Labs. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Biota Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and he was a member of the Board of Directors of Adolor Corporation until it was sold to Cubist Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Anido earned a BS in Pharmacy and an MBA from West Virginia University.
