Biography

Antoine Baggioni is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Paris, with more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain and, research and development. He has led numerous post-merger programs, rationalized international distribution networks, and implemented major cost reduction and working capital improvement projects.Mr. Baggioni has a track record gained primarily within the automotive and professional retail sectors of delivering sustainable performance.Most recently at A&M, Mr. Baggioni led the operational due diligence for Fiducial as they acquired NeoSecurity (a company in the midst of a French liquidation procedure). He was also appointed as interim COO by Fiducial to lead the new entity.Previously, he led several projects focused on social crisis management, where he developed a new HR strategy and designed its implementation roll out plan for the key HR processes. During this project, he also contributed to the implementation a recovery plan for the closure of a manufacturing site.Mr. Baggioni was also R&D Deputy Director at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals France, responsible for pre-clinical innovation, pre-manufacturing and manufacturing formulation. Mr. Baggioni served as the Chief Industrial Officer of the Perfumery Business Unit of SGD Group, a €650 million leading glass flask manufacturer. There, he was in charge of industrial aspects of a restructuring plan leading to a sensible EBITDA improvement for their perfume business unit’s decoration sites in France.Before A&M, Mr. Baggioni was Vice President and co-Founder of Headstrong France, a U.S.-based consulting company. In this role, he managed a series of change programs, including a strategic restructuring program covering France, the U.S., Australia, the Netherlands and Germany. As part of a business process reengineering project, he led the design and integration of operational processes for the implementation of Oracle across the French and American businesses, which increased EBITDA by 5 percent. He also played a key role in the design and realization of the “first 100 days” plan in the post-merger integration of a European leader in retail as a special adviser to the CEO and other executives.Earlier, Mr. Baggioni was Vice President of e-Business Strategy at a European automotive OEM, where he achieved a 15 percent savings in procurement costs. He was also a Principal at Gemini Consulting, leading several global operational transformation programs covering all areas of the automotive value chain, increasing EBIT by 8 percent. Mr. Baggioni earned a PhD in biophysics, with honors, from the University of Paris, and holds a master’s degree in strategy and marketing from the French Business School ESSEC-IMD. A French national, he is fluent in French and English, and has a working knowledge of Italian.
