My name is Ann Marie and I work as an International Medical Director (IMD) within the diabetes area in the Global Development unit at Novo Nordisk R&D. In general, my role encompasses planning the strategic development of clinical trials, being medically responsible during the conduct and reporting of the trial and also supporting regulatory interactions with health authorities. My role also provides an opportunity to interact with external experts in the field of diabetes to discuss current issues that impact our trial conduct and interpretation of data.
