Andrey Guryev Sr. has been the Deputy Chairman of PhoAgro's Board of Directors since June 2013. He is also the Vice President of the Russian Union of Chemists and Chairman of the non-governmental organization DROZD – Children of Russia Educated and Healthy. Prior to taking his current post at PhosAgro, Mr. Guryev was a Member of the Federation Council from the executive branch of the Murmansk oblast government from 2011 to 2013. Between 1995 and 2000, Mr. Guryev was the Head of the Mining and Chemical Products Department, First Deputy CEO of ROSPROM; he then headed the Y. V. Samoilov Research Institute for Fertilizers and Insectofungicides (NIUIF). He was the Deputy Director of Menatep Group from 1990 to 1995.
