Biography

 Amy McKinney joined Galil Medical in 2010 as Director, Regulatory Affairs. Since beginning her career in regulatory affairs in 1996, she has worked in the regulatory affairs departments of Intermedics, Guidant, Merit Medical, and also for various clients as an independent consultant. Ms. McKinney’s experience has focused on worldwide regulatory affairs and regulatory / quality compliance activities. She has a proven track record for working with regulators and obtaining regulatory approvals for Class II and III medical devices.

Research Intrest

 Ms. McKinney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Joint Program in Biomedical Engineering at University of Texas – Arlington and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She also holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification in US Regulatory Affairs from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) of which she is a member.
