Mr. Allen R. Thorpe has been the Managing Director of Hellman & Friedman LLC since 2004. He leads the Hellman & Friedman LLC's New York Office. He joined the Hellman & Friedman in 1999 where he focuses on financial services, asset management and healthcare sectors. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, finance and business development. He served as Vice President of Pacific Equity Partners and Manager at Bain & Company Inc., where he served as a Consultant. He serves as the Chairman of Bay Area Video Coalition, Inc. He serves as a Director of Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC. Mr. Thorpe has been a Director of Change Healthcare Holdings, Inc. since September 2008; EBS Master since February 2008. He serves as a Director of Jaguar Holding Co I, Edelman Financial, Emdeon Business Services, Grosvenor Capital Management, Sheridan Holdings, Inc., and LPL Holdings, Inc. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Artisan Partners Limited Partnership and Grosvenor Capital Management Holdings, LLP. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the NYU Langone Medical Center. He served as an Independent Director of Artisan Partners Asset Management Inc. until July 2014. He served as a Lead Director of LPL Financial Holdings Inc. and also served as its Director since October 2005 until August 15, 2013. He served as a Director of LPL Financial Corporation since 2005. He served as a Director of Gartmore Investment Management Limited, Mondrian Investment Partners Limited, Sheridan Healthcare, Mitchell International, Inc., Vertafore, Inc., and Activant Solutions, Inc. He is also a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Thorpe holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University.
