Biography

Mr. Adam H. Schechter has been the President of Global Human Health and Executive Vice President at Merck & Co., Inc. since May 2010. Mr. Schechter served as the President of Global Pharmaceuticals at Merck Frosst Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc. He served as the President of Global Pharmaceuticals of Merck & Co., Inc. since August 2007. He served as the President of U.S. Human Health - commercial of Merck & Co., Inc. from July 2006 to August 2007. Mr. Schechter served as General Manager of U.S. Human Health Division of Merck & Co., Inc. since October 2005 and was responsible for the Neuro-Psychiatry, Osteoporosis, Migraine, Respiratory and New Products franchises. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Merck/Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals U.S. Joint Venture since February 2004. Mr. Schechter served as Vice President of Merck Human Health Division at Arthritis & Analgesia Franchise Business Group since August 2002. He has been an Independent Director at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings since April 1, 2013. Mr. Schechter earned B.A. degree in Biology from LaSalle University in 1986. Mr. Adam H.
