Late Abdel-Hadi with Late King Hussein Circumstances took him after 1948, to Amman, where he excelled as a reliable and gifted ICI employee appointing agents in the Middle East. In 1962 he resigned from this position and became a general agent for ICI divisions in Jordan. He additionally extended his interests and expertise to different companies like Dioxide & Tenco. In 1963 he instigated the opening of an animal feed factory and continued as a pioneer and an entrepreneur in the Jordan poultry industry. In 1970 he was awarded O.B.E by the British Government for outstanding services rendered to British Commerce & Industry. This recognition remained a treasured honor until his death. According to his great wisdom and his personal pledge of trust to all colleagues and customers alike, business soured to great heights and the name ‘Hammoudeh’ promising constant quality became a household name. Abdel-Hadi passed away July 5, 1999 and is fondly remembered by friends, family; especially his wife and eight children. His memory is surrounded by great love, great respect, and great loss at his absence, for surely a truly great man had lived and died.
