Mr. A. W. Veenman, also known as Aad, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Stork N.V. Mr. Veenman served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Netherlands Railways. He served as the President of Managing Board and Member of Managing Board of NV Nederlandse Spoorwegen. He served as the Process and Project Engineer and a Marketing Executive of Hoogovens (Esmil International). He started his career training to be a fitter/turner at Junior Technical School. He has been the Chairman of the Community of European Railways (CER) since January 26, 2005. He has been Chairman of Supervisory Board of Achmea B.V. since August 9, 2016 and has been its Member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea B.V. since 2008. He serves as Chairman of Stichting Energieonderzoek Centrum Nederland. He serves as Chairman at the Supervisory Board at TenneT TSO GmbH and TenneT Holding B.V. He is Chair of Economic Cluster Logistics. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Stork NV, where he held various managerial posts since 1986. He served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Royal Ten Cate NV from 1996 to April 3, 2008. He served as Chairman of Supervisory Board at Koninklijke Ten Cate nv until April 3, 2008. He served as the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TenneT Holding B.V. since February 1, 2009. Mr. Veenman serves as a Member of the Board at Rabobank Nederland. He has been a Member of the Board of NS Groep NV since November 1, 2002. He has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at TenneT Holding B.V. since March 9, 2005; Draka Holding B.V. since April 20, 2010. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board at DHV Beheer B.V., and Supervisory Council of TNO. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of ICT Regie. He serves as a Member Supervisory Board of Prysmian Holding Netherlands N.V. and Royal Huisman Shipyard B.V. He serves as a Member of Advisory Council of the National Aerospace Laboratory of the Netherlands (NLR). He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Coöperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A (now Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A.) since June 2002. He served as a Director of Société Anonyme Belge de Constructions Aéronautiques. Mr. Veenman served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Athlon Car Lease International B.V. from 1996 to 2005. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board of Royal Ten Cate NV until April 3, 2008. He was a part-time Lecturer from 1989 to 1999. Along with UTS and Technical College training, Mr. Veenman holds a PhD in Engineering at the University of Delft.
