Özer Öztürk completed his undergraduate education at Department of Mathematics of Middle East Technical University. While working as a research assistant at the same department he received his M. Sc. degree. Then as a scholar TUBITAK and Polish Academy of Sciences he completed his Ph.D at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw). He has been working at the Department of Mathematics of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University since 2011.
