Zbigniew Niewójt graduated from the Medical Academy in Lublin and completed post-graduate studies in the Institute of Public Health at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 1992 he obtained a first-degree specialisation in community pharmacy. His professional career started in 1985 in PrzedsiÄ™biorstwo Zaopatrzenia Farmaceutycznego “Cefarm” in Lublin where he completed his pharmacy internship. He held the position of junior assistant in a hospital pharmacy in the Voivodship Hospital Complex in BiaÅ‚a Podlaska. In 1986, he was promoted to Manager of the Department of Organisation and Supervision of the Voivodship Hospital Complex and participated in the management and organisation of the medical division. In 1989, Zbigniew Niewójt started his career in pharmaceutical inspection where he worked as a Pharmaceutical Inspector in the Voivodship Office in BiaÅ‚a Podlaska    Since 2000, Zbigniew Niewójt participated in the organisation of a new Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate where he acted in the capacity of the Director of the Supervision Department of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate.

Zbigniew Niewójt did his research in community pharmacy . He had broad intrests in  pharmaceutical inspection.
