Biography

Youssef Doughan graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1989 as an Agricultural Engineer (BS in Agriculture and diplôme d'Ingénieur en agriculture, and holds two masters degrees MSc. in Animal Science (1992) and an MSc in Agricultural Economics (2006) from AUB as well. PMP certified since 2009 from Project Management Institute in Pennsylvania, USA; and currently finishing Ph.D. in economics from Beirut Arab University (BAU) (Expected June 2017). Received more than 40 Professional Certificates in the areas of Six Sigma, Management, Feasibility Studies, Administration, Project Appraisal & Evaluation, Budgeting, Policies & Procedures, Team Work & Different Engineering Techniques, Safety & Field Security, Agriculture Practices, Organic Farming, and Management. Worked for five years as a Research & Graduate Assistant at AUB. From 2014 till 2017, he has been assigned as an advisor to His Excellency Minister of Environment in the Republic of Lebanon. In 2016 he was assigned as a member of the board of the South Council in the Republic of Lebanon.
