Wanli Kang is Ph.D. supervisor and Taishan Scholar Professor. He graduated from department of chemistry of Northeast Normal University in 1985, got Ph.D. in Oil-Gas Field Development Engineering in 2001 from Northeast Petroleum University. He was a postdoctoral researcher in China University of Petroleum (Beijing) 2001-2003, in Peking University 2007-2009. He mainly engaged in theory and technology research of enhanced oil and gas recovery and oilfield chemicals. He received many achievements in the aspects of chemical oil displacement system and oil displacement mechanism, produced liquid treatment theory and technology, profile control and water plugging system and technology, etc. He has presided and accomplished more than 30 major projects in National Natural Science Foundation and Key national research and development projects. He was awarded one Second Class Prize for The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, two second and Third Class Prizes for Technological Development Award of ministerial level. He has published more than 120 journal articles, including more than 50 SCI ones. In addition, he has 6 authorized patents. He won the nomination of 100 National excellent doctoral papers, Heilongjiang Province Outstanding Youth Fund and Yueqi Sun Education Development Fund.
