Biography

Vail’s undergraduate honours degree was at Cardiff University in Biomedical Sciences with Anatomy. Enjoying the osteology aspect to this degree, she decided to further her knowledge in this area by choosing to study nutrient foramina in long bones as her BSc dissertation. Vail completed an MSc in Forensic Archaeology and Anthropology at Cranfield University last year. Advancing on her BSc thesis she again looked at nutrient foramina but in a forensic comparative anatomy context. Deciding to stay at Cranfield she is pursuing her PhD with Cranfield Forensic Institute combining Anthropology, Archaeology and Anatomy together.

Research Intrest

Vail is very much interested in Anthropology, Archaeology and Anatomy.
