Biography

Dr. Winokur attended medical school and finished his residency in Anatomic Pathology at Washington University in St. Louis. He has held positions in Anatomic Pathology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and as a senior staff fellow in the Laboratory of Chemoprevention at the National Cancer Institute. He moved to UAB in 1993. He attends on the general surgical pathology service and in molecular diagnostics and has a special interest in cardiac pathology and soft tissue pathology.He also serves as the division quality assurance coordinator and is the Division Informatics Coordinator   Dr. Winokur attended medical school and finished his residency in Anatomic Pathology at Washington University in St. Louis.
