I completed my undergraduate studies at the National University of Athens, Greece (in Archaeology, Department of History and Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, 1992) and continued at the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Cyprus, where I got my PhD in Archaeology, in 2002. I worked in head of Museums Department of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation (2000 - 2006). I have taught Maritime Archaeology in the University of Peloponnese (2006) and, since, 2007 at the University of Cyprus. Maritime archaeology with focus on shipwrecks, amphoras, ancient sea routes, trade mechanisms and economy in the Eastern Mediterranean, late roman pottery, ancient and pre-industrial ceramic technology Research activities: 1. Coordinator of the programme ΚΑΡΑΒΟΙ: The Ship Graffiti on the Medieval and Post Medieval Monuments of Cyprus: Mapping, Documentation and Digitisation; funded by the Leventis Foundation Research Committee, University of Cyprus.
