Biography

Undergraduate studies at the University of Reading (BA in History); postgraduate studies at the University of Southampton (MA in History & Archaeology, PhD in Medieval History). I was a Research Fellow at the University of Winchester until 2008 and since then has been a Research Associate of the University of Cyprus. I am a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (FRHistS). I have also acted as an external examiner, both for the University of Malta (examiner of Masters dissertations) and the University of New Mexico (examiner of doctoral research), and in the Spring semester of 2013 I was a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta.
