Professor Sheldon(Xiaodong)Du pursued his Ph.D., Economics from Iowa State University, 2008 and further he studied his M.B.A.in Finance from University of Kansas, 2003 and now works as an associate professor department of agriculture and applied economics in university of Wisconsin-Medison.His primary areas of research are energy and agricultural economics and also interested in the economics of traditional and renewable energy, energy policy, and implications for agricultural markets.His interests also include understanding agricultural adaptation to climate change, risk management and crop insurance choices, as well as commodity markets.
