Biography

Education Dr. Hedican did his MD from University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA, 1991. He is Resident in General Surgery, The Johns Hopkins Hospitals, Baltimore, MD, 1991-1993. He is Residency in Urology, The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute, The Johns Hopkins Hospitals, Baltimore, MD, 1993-1997. He is Advanced Specialty Training in Urology, The James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute, The Johns Hopkins Hospitals, Baltimore, MD, 7/97-12/97. Clinical Specialties Dr. Hedican is certified by the American Board of Urology. In 2001, he performed the first laparoscopic pyeloplasty in the state of Wisconsin. His clinical specialties include reconstructive laparoscopy, minimally invasive cancer therapy, robotic surgery, and nerve sparing prostatectomy in the treatment of prostate cancer.
