Biography

Education Dr. McAchran did her MD fromVanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, TN in the year 2000. She did her Internship and Residency in Urology from Case Medical Center/University Hospitals of Cleveland, Cleveland, OH in the year 2000-2006 and she got Fellowship, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Glickman Urological Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH in the year 2006-2008. Clinical Specialties Dr. McAchran is certified by the American Board of Urology and specializes in all aspects of female pelvic floor disorders including: urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor reconstruction for pelvic organ prolapse, urethrovaginal reconstruction for urethral diverticulum and fistulas, and female sexual dysfunction. She is also board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, a new sub-specialty certification that is jointly administered by the American Board of Urology and the American Board of Obstetrics & Gyneocology.

Research Intrest

Dr. McAchran’s research interests in female urology include optimization of care pathways to improve surgical outcomes and clinical outcomes of female pelvic floor reconstruction.
