Dr. Santosh Aghav , Assistant Professor, Symbiosis Law School , Constituent of Symbiosis International University , Pune Joined SLS in Oct, 2003 as Assistant Professor –teach UG and PG subjects- Property Law , Company Law –II , Financial and Systemic Fraud, White Collar Crime ,Criminology and Penology, Practical Course on Drafting , Pleading and Conveyance . Faculty in charge, SLS Centre for Justice Education and SLS Legal Aid Cell, was the Member, of Research Committee on the 'Handbook on Indian Penal Code' Sponsored by Adv Ram Jethmalani ,Professor Emeritus, Symbiosis and Former Law Minister, Union of India. He has participated in various national International seminar, conferences conducted by prestigious organizations few of them includes UNHRC,ICRC ,SAARC countries and also represented law academics in the international conference held in the month of April 2014 at Touro law center ,New York USA on the incubator programme. He has been appointed as Programme committee member of 4th international conference on law, regulations and public policy held on 8-9 June 2015 at Hotel Fort Canning Canning Walk ,Singapore 178881. He is the Faculty in Charge, Community Legal Resource Network Project in association with 'The City University of New York' (USA). He has contributed as co-author in the content development of the information booklet on women empowerment prepared by joint efforts of Janwani (Supported by MCCIAS) - Pune Police and SLS .Served as Faculty Editor of Symbiosis Law Times (Journal) and erstwhile Online Journal (ONSYM) . He guided LL.M. students in Dissertations and various students on contemporary issues. He was faculty in charge of SLS Library committee, Diploma Programme. He has contributed in various co-curricular, extra curricular and clinical activities. He contributed as resource person for management, health and professional course programmes to teach law of contract,, mercantile law, business law and laws relating to health . He participated in the empowerment training programmes for self help group, Prison officers, police personnel and public representatives. Received Award for Recognition of Special Services rendered for victims of (German Bakery Blast) 2010, Pune and special appreciation from Adarsha foundation, Pune for contribution for social cause 2014.
