Biography

I have worked within the health care sector for over 40 years and have dual qualification: Registered Nurse and District Nursing (Cert). My career has been interesting and varied and over the years I have worked within a number of specialist areas; including orthopaedics, respiratory care, community nursing, health screening and care of the older person. For seven years I worked as a senior research nurse at: University College London (Ethnicity and diabetes related lower limb amputation); Imperial College London (Arterial compliance); Cambridge University (Genetics of juvenile diabetes).
