Dr El-Nakla is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at PMU and is involved with all aspects of conducting classes and laboratories for undergraduate university students. Dr El-Nakla earned his PhD in Intelligent Electronic design within mechatronics from the University of Abertay Dundee, United Kingdom in 2004. His PhD research work dealt with defining and developing a decomposed mechatronic system into its different system components using functional decomposition and top down approach. This led to the development and implementation of a computer based system at lower level and which is used to assist in the design of electronic systems, which themselves form a part of a larger or meachtronic system.
