Biography

Saada Allaw is a Course Instructor of Editorial and Feature Writing at AlMaaref University. She is one of the few top specialist in investigative journalism in Lebanon. Her legacy in journalism goes back to 1994 when she started at the bespoken national newspaper Assafir. Her specialism in journalism is focused on researching issues of Human Rights with a number of Local and International bodies. Saada is a trainer in Human Rights Journalism, Investigative Reporting, and Journalism Practices with a number of Lebanese University and Civil Society organizations. She gained numerous awards for her excellence in journalism such as the Investigative Reporting Award from the Development Program of the United Nations, the best Journalist in Spreading the Human Rights. These are just a few of other acknowledgments attributed to her contribution in critical social issues related closely to Lebanese communities. Saada Allaw participated had prominent appearances in national,regional and international conferences.
