Biography

Dr. Rizwana Rahim has research expertise in Mycology and Plant Pathology in particular “Hyphomycetes of Dehra Dun”, India. Dr. Rahim has several publications on the floristic and systematic study of Hyphomycetes of Dehra Dun and Hyderabad, India. Dr. Rahim joined the EastWest University Biology Department in the Fall of 2001. As an adjunct Professor, Dr. Rahim teaches a wide array of courses for the department including Introductory General Biology, Nutrition, Introduction to Nature, Biogeography, History of Life, Human Health and Fitness, Human Sexuality, and General Chemistry. Dr. Rahim also instructs classes for the biology major including Cell Biology, Biology of Organism, and Botany. Dr. Rahim also has teaching experience in Biology including Human Biology, Plant Physiology; Plant Morphology, The Changing Natural Environment; General Biology, Nutrition; Anatomy and Physiology, and General Chemistry at Roosevelt University, Northeastern University, National Louis University, Columbia College, City Colleges of Chicago, and St. Augustine College respectively.
