Richie Soong is a Senior Principal Investigator in the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI Singapore) and a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the National University of Singapore. He heads the “Translational Interface” (TI) core facility in CSI Singapore, which is a unique facility dedicated to translational research. He is also Scientific Director of the NUS Diagnostic Molecular Oncology Centre. Born and bred in Australia, A/Prof. Soong completed a PhD on the clinical relevance of alterations to the p53 tumour suppressor in the Departments of Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The University of Western Australia.
