Biography

I qualified in nursing from Guy's Hospital in 1994 working on medical, respiratory and HIV units at St Thomas' Hospital, London. In 1997, I commenced working in NHS primary care as a community nurse then later as a practice nurse. Here I became involved in one of the few UK PCG/PCT commissioning pilots, achieving outstanding collaboration across the locality with all members of the nursing profession, which was commended by the Secretary of State.
