Ralph holds a MSc of Physics and MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Heidelberg (Germany). He completed a 2 year post-doctoral Marie Curie Fellowship at Keele University (UK) and a post-doctoral position at ETH Zurich. Since 2013 Ralph has been an Associate Professor at the University of Bern (having previously been an Assistant Professor from 2009 until 2013).
