He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1973), a degree in Pedagogy from the University of Marília (1982), a Master's degree in Education from the State University of Campinas (1990) and a PhD in Education from the State University of Campinas 1996). He is currently a full professor of the Postgraduate Program in Education (Master degree) of the Universidade do Oeste Paulista and pedagogical coordinator of the Pedagogy course of the Educational Institute of Assis (IEDA). He has experience in Education, with emphasis on teaching methodology, working mainly in the following subjects: teaching action, knowledge construction, elementary education, teaching-learning and geography teaching.
