Quintero Carolina is a biologist. During her Bachelor of Science at Pedagogical National University (Colombia), she achieved two scholarships as assistant student in biotechnology lab. Currently, she is a master´s student in microbiology at the National University of Colombia (Bogota Campus). There, she achieved a scholarship as outstanding graduated student. Since 2011, she belongs to the research groups of Molecular Epidemiology of Hospital Infection and Bioinformatics directed by Dr. Ramón Mantilla and Dr. Emiliano Barreto respectively at the Institute of Biotechnology (IBUN). She participated in the 12th International Congress of National College of Bacteriology in 2012, which took place in Cali-Colombia. Quintero Carolina is a biologist.
