He studied at the University of Ruse, Bulgaria with speciality Computer Science, and graduated in 1992 with MSc in Computer Science, Dipl. Engineer in Electronics, Electro-techniques and Automatics, excellent marks, and medal. Later on between 1996 and 2001 she worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer in the Departments of Informatics and Information Systems at the University of Ruse, Bulgaria. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy Degree, PhD officially in July, 2005. The topic of her PhD was ‘Enterprise Collaborative Portals enabling Business Process Modelling’. Additionally, she also worked as a demonstrator and teaching assistant in computing labs for EN1035, Cardiff School of Engineering in 2003-2004. Since September, 2005 Dr Daniela Tsaneva joined Cardiff School of Computer Science, Cardiff University as a Research Associate working on JISC VRE project ISME (Integration and Steering of Multi-Site Experiments). Since July, 2007 until the end of June, 2008 Daniela was working on the OMII-RAVE project, which is mainly related to integrating visualisation software into an existing open source environment, the OMII-UK package. The next project she worked on between August, 2008 and June, 2010 was the Green Logistics project (EPSRC) jointly between the School of Computer Science and Cardiff Business School. During Daniela’s working period in the Cardiff School of Computer Science she was also a teaching assistant in computing labs for Assembler, Software Engineering, Web Design etc. (CM0108, CM0025, CM0356, CM0014, CM0206, CM0356, CMT606) at the School. Currently Dr. Daniela Tsaneva is working as a Research Associate on the Seren project at the Geoenvironmental Research Centre, the Geoinformatics package in particular.
