Premila Devi was born and raised in Fiji. she hold a Bachelor’s degree in Literature/ Language and History Politics, Post Graduate Certificate in teaching as well as a Certificate in teaching English as a second language. she have worked in a variety of teaching environment ranging from local high schools, the University of Queensland and the International School Suva. she spent 6 years teaching English as a second language to Asian students at the University of Queensland. she joined the University of the South Pacific in year 2010 as a teaching staff in the Faculty of Arts, Law and Education. My interest lies in the areas of visual art and animal care. she was part of the inaugural Red Wave Artists’ based at Oceania Center, USP and have exhibited my art work at the Center on a number of occasions. Currently, she was working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies.
