Biography

Paulo N. Lopes holds a B.A. in Economics and Ph.D. in Psychology from Yale University, and is a former Fulbright fellow. He teaches courses on organizational behavior, creativity/innovation and change management in Executive Education, MBA and MSc programs. Bridging executive education, facilitation and process consultation, he helps organizations to engage the collective intelligence, creativity and experience of their people in order to foster innovation, accelerate change and drive results. His research focuses on emotional and interpersonal skills and is aimed at helping people to lead, manage and work effectively with others. He has published on topics encompassing emotional intelligence, interpersonal interaction, the role of emotion in decision making, leadership, education and training. Formerly he was a Senior Lecturer in the department of Psychology at the University of Surrey.
