Biography

Dr. McKenna got Fellowship from Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Did his Internship from Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. Medical Schooling at George Washington University, Washington, D.C., 1982. Dr. McKenna is a Specialty Diplomat of the American Board of Urology, chair-elect of American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Urology, president–elect of the North Central Section of the American Urology Association, and Health Policy Committee chair of the Society of University Urologists and American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Urology. He also has a career interest in quality improvement and currently serves as chair of the Department of Urology’s Quality Improvement Committee.

Research Intrest

Dr. McKenna’s research interests include antenatal urologic problems, incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, DSD (disorders of sex development), urologic reconstruction, bilateral Wilm’s tumor and health policy.
