Biography

Dr. Omar Camara is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business Administration (COBA)has a combined eight years industry experience as an auditor, senior accountant and financial consultant in Chicago, USA. Obtained dual undergraduate degree (BS) in accounting and business administration, and a dual undergraduate minor in economics and corporate communication from Dominican University in Chicago,IL USA in 2000.; a master of business administration (MBA) with a concentration in financial analysis from DePaul University in Chicago in 2008; A postgraduate certificate in International Finance and Economics from the University of Sheffield in UK in 2009; a PhD in finance from the University of St. Andrews in UK in June, 2012. I obtained a professional certificate of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2001.
