Biography

Oludara joined De Montfort University in May 2017 as an early career academic fellow. She recently completed her Phd at Durham University Law School with her doctoral thesis titled ‘Understanding and Evaluating the Enforcement of Corporate Law in Nigeria: The Case for Enhanced Public Civil Enforcement’. Prior to that, in 2012, she completed her LLM in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation graduating with a Distinction from the University of Warwick. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2010 and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is also a qualified Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria. Prior to her LLM study, Oludara worked as a State Counsel at the Ministry of Justice, Ogun State where she specialized in Criminal Litigation. Oludara previously worked as a tutor at Durham University Law School between 2016 and 2017. During her time at Durham University Law School she also acted as a Co-convener of Durham Institute for Commercial and Corporate Law. Oludara’s research interests lie in the broad area of corporate law and corporate governance. She is however particularly interested in directors’ accountability and enforcement of corporate law.
