Mr. Beres is an Atmospheric Science graduate student at the University of Nevada-Reno and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Desert Research Institute (DRI) in Reno, NV, where he studies and conducts research at DRI's Laboratory for Aerosol Science, Spectroscopy, and Optics. His interests include instrument development, aerosol physics, and radiative transfer. His current project aims to develop novel instrumentation to explore how aerosol deposition on a snow surface alters its reflectivity, inducing further changes and consequences in the snowpack and the atmosphere. Mr. Beres has participated in the planning, implementation, and data analysis of several field studies
aerosol optics, radiative forcing, instrument development
