Nelson Barbosa Machado Neto is an Agricultural Engineer from the State University of Maringá, Master in Genetics and Improvement from the State University of Londrina / IAPAR / EMBRAPA and PhD in Biological Sciences (Plant Biology) [Rio Claro] at the State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in 1999 Has training in classical and molecular improvement.
