Ann Kangai Munene holds a Master of Science in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology, Bachelor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from the University of Nairobi. A Higher National Diploma in Biotechnology from Kenya Polytechnic as well as a Diploma in Medical  laboratory sciences.Currently she is a senior Technologist in charge of Bacteriology section in the Department of Veterinary Pathology Microbiology and Parasitology.Previously she worked in the small holder livestock in Africa project where she was involved in virology research of avian(2006-2010).
