Mr. MUHAMMAD DAWOOD, is Lecturer (Animal Breeding & Genetics), in Department of Livestock Production, University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Lahore-Pakistan since May 18, 2015. He secured his BS (Hons.) Poultry Science (2011) and MPhil in Animal Breeding & Genetics (2013)from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. MPhil research work entitled “Cytogenetic analysis related to infertility problems in buffalo in Pakistan” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khalid Javed. He worked as Research Associate in research project “Cytogenetic characterization and molecular FISH studies in candidate cow bulls for genetic improvement in Punjab Province” at Animal Genetics Lab, UVAS Ravi Campus. He also worked as Research Associate in a project “Development of genetic evaluation model for dhanni cattle as potential beef cattle in Potohar region of Punjab”, Department of Livestock Production & Management, Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. Currently doing his Ph.D. with major focus on genomics. Beside his curricular activities he is also an active sports man and also actively take part in departmental conferences, workshops and other events.
