Biography

Dan registered as a pharmacist in New Zealand in early 2000 working in Community and Hospital Pharmacy before moving to the UK in early 2002 working as a clinical pharmacist in several hospitals across England and Scotland. Dan briefly returned to New Zealand from 2005 to 2007 to work in Community Pharmacy practice in the picturesque Queenstown. Upon returning to the UK Dan worked as a senior clinical pharmacist and qualified as an Independent Prescriber before moving into academia in 2009. Dan joined the Medway School of Pharmacy in 2013 and is involved in teaching clinical and professional practice topics on the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. Dan is also the Deputy Programme Lead for the post-graduate Physician Associate Programme which is a collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church University.
