Biography

Mr. Asad Ali is Lecturer in the Department of Livestock Production, Faculty of Animal Production and Technology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore–Pakistan since May13, 2015. Currently he is PhD (Animal Breeding and Genetics) Scholar in Department of Livestock Production. He has completed his BS (Hons.) Poultry Science in 2011 from Department of Poultry Production, University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Lahore. He has worked as Research Associate in the project “Enhancement of Cost Effective Mutton Production Through Genetically Enhanced Prolificacy Management” at Ravi Campus Pattoki for 2 years and 11 months. Mr. Asad Ali has received his M. Phil (Animal Breeding and Genetics)degree in 2013 from department of Livestock Production, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. In his M. Phil research, he has worked on genetic variation of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) in local chicken breeds.
