Biography

Dr. Muhammad Waqar Ashraf joined PMU in 2007 as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Earlier, he worked at Department of Chemistry, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He earned his Ph.D in Chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. His research interests include Analytical Environmental Chemistry and Waste Effluents Treatment. He is author of over 50 research publications and a book. Dr. Ashraf has successfully carried out funded research projects related to environmental issues in the Kingdom, funded by King Abdulaziz City of Science & Technology (KACST) and SABIC. He has presented his research work at various renowned international conferences held at England, Italy, Canada, Greece and the Netherland.
