Biography

Mohammad Ibrahim Khalad is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology, at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Previously, he worked in the research department of the UNAIDS (The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS) and Nagorik Uddyog. He recently completed his second Masters from International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam with a research paper distinction. He also won the 'Best Research Paper Award' from ISS for his MA thesis titled, Ambiguous positionalities: Bangladeshi migrant men in The Hague. His research interest includes migration and masculinities, intersectionality and Islamophobic discourse, child rights, environmental justice, etc. Mohammad Ibrahim Khalad is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology, at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.
