Miriam Al Lily is a junior academic who has been at PMU since 2015. As a lecturer, she teaches two courses: Introduction to Microeconomics and Introduction to Macroeconomics. She obtained a Master’s degree in Economics with distinction from the University of Surrey and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bonn. In addition, she has worked for five years as an Economic Consultant in London and Oxford. Currently, she is working on a PhD that analyses poverty in Saudi Arabia.
Miriam Al Lily’s research interests are in microeconomics, behavioral economics and development economics; with a particular interest in the Middle East.
